The brand edition: Sezane – The Fold Line

After the success of Toast Edit a few months ago, many requests were sent to me to make a Sezane. Your wish is my command…and here we are. I was able to check out the clothes in the store and even managed to sneak you into the changing room with me. So here is the video and all the images below if you want to take a closer look.

This workwear-inspired jacket is one they repeat year after year. It's a style that never goes out of fashion and is reborn every season in a new color. The pattern I chose is the Masin Jameela jacket, the proportions of the jacket are perfect and the pockets have the same shape.

Another style that stands out year after year is this super wrap coat. A timeless classic that you will find, as soon as I saw it, I thought of the Bella Loves Patterns Grace coat. Filled with interesting tailoring details, this coat is a must-have this season.

Who doesn't love or own a quilted jacket?! I loved this boxy version from Sezane and it is reversible. Helen's Closet Wildwood ticks a lot of boxes here (including the jazzy liner!). My only suggestion is to size up so it looks oversized.

As soon as I saw the jumpsuit, I thought of the Blanca costume from Closet Core. They are so similar in style, including the front zipper, the only adjustment being narrowing the leg slightly which is an easy fix.

I fell for this great blouse, perfect for spring and which brings a lot of long-sleeved energy to the table. This is another style I saw and immediately thought of the pattern, the Anna Allen Anthea is perfect, the only adjustment would be to add a ruffle to the neckline.

This mock neck blouse comes in many iterations and is another style they repeat from season to season. I own one and wear it a lot, it's a really useful piece for your wardrobe, the two designs I chose for this are StyleArc Isabella which is the slightly easier point of the two. The other is the Atelier Scammit passion, I would leave aside the patch pockets on the chest.

This is one of the clothes I have tried and owned, it is such a useful item that I reach for again and again. The Assembly Line Oversized Shirt is one that many have made and loved and thought it was a cute match.

As for pants, I was very seduced by this paperbag model with a slightly tapered leg. Having had a very good hunt, the Megan Nielsen Opal Pants ticked a lot of boxes.

I love these high-waisted sailor-style pants. This is another style they repeat every season, the Merchant and Mills Quinn pattern looked very well fitted and had lots of men's tailoring details.

Finally, we have a dress…and a fantastic dress at that. A boxy denim shirt dress with a grandad collar. I've always liked this Simplicity model and think option B would be a good option. Maybe increasing the size would make it look a little more square.
