Grid stabilizer pattern printed on Flex© model what makes this so carefree and quick to sew. Create perfect stitches on these little squares! Here is a free pattern with a complete photo tutorial of the technique.
The quilt squares end with a 1″ square. Look at these points, and with little or no effort! A fantastic project that takes an afternoon to sew. Perfect for gifts or quick holiday decorating.
This method is really simple. My daughter quickly made a coaster for her friend in an afternoon, while I made 4 panels for a larger doll quilt. I donated this doll quilt to the Sasha Festival, which raises money for children's charities. It was given out in a raffle and I find myself sitting next to the lucky winner, which was a happy surprise. Everyone I met at the festival was very kind and welcoming.
Cutting and layout instructions for a mini gingham quilt are also included in the free pattern.
