Make a magnificent raglan dress with the Margot Dress PDF sewing pattern!
The Margot Dress is a woven raglan dress shaped with front and back darts in the skirt, back and shoulder darts in the bodice, and elegant French darts in the front to complement the raglan sleeves.
We offer you different options so you can make Margot your own!
Version 1 is dressy and beautiful, with 3/4 bell sleeves and a skirt that hits below the knee.
Version 2 is a pretty long-sleeve mini dress, designed to effortlessly take you from a day at the office to a night out on the town!
The dress features an invisible side zip and the bodice is fully lined for a neat finish. The lining also allows you to use sheer fabrics, which go particularly well with the fabulous bell sleeve!
Draped fabrics such as viscose and crepe are perfect for both versions, and the long-sleeved style also looks great in a light to medium-weight cotton with some structure, to accentuate the soft lantern shape given by a dart at the waist. ‘hem.
There are so many different styles you can create with this pattern, we absolutely love the versions made by our Pattern Insiders, including some cute pattern hack ideas!
